There are an abundance of applications where temperature must be monitored and controlled, including personal computers, mobile phones, automobiles, medical equipment, and gaming consoles. Many devices have been developed to match the widely varying technical and economic requirements of these applications, including thermistors, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), infrared (IR), thermocouples, and more recently, IC temperature sensors. Often the measurement of temperature is required at multiple locations. This can be achieved by placing several local digital temperature sensors (for example the PT100, thermistors, thermocouples) in the system.
NSTL has launched digital temperature controller; possessing product number as NS/DT/07 ,covering a temperature range of 100°c - 800°c.The desired temperature can be set by pressing the micro switch located on the front panel. The digital temperature controller can automatically shutoff the heater when it exceeds the desired value. Control accuracy is 0.1° for lower ranges and 1° for the higher ranges. The standard cutout for the digital temperature controllers is 96 x 96 x 150 [d] mm size. This instrument is mainly used in any type of process temperature controlling.
